AC system working amazingly
So happy with the work these guys did and the service they provided. Our AC went out, and they were able to come out on the same day to diagnose the problem, put a temporary fix in place (so we didn't die in 100°F weather), and offer us a choice of long-term solutions. They then were able to come out the next week to install a whole new AC system, which is working amazingly (so nice to finally have a powerful AC!). They were well-priced, punctual, wore masks inside, and they left our house clean and tidy. We would definitely use them again and have already passed their details on to friends.

We have some rental properties in SCV and have had a hard time finding a good HVAC company. JC Refrigeration was recommended by our property management company. Our Sub-Zero is in great shape
Kevin was very punctual and texted me 20 minutes before arrival. My 1986 panel-ready side-by-side Sub-Zero freezer and refrigerator were having to be set at the coolest setting in order to keep food at the recommended temperature of 0 degrees F for the freezer and 38-40 degrees F for the refrigerator. So before they failed I wanted to see what the repair/replacement parts would be. Kevin explained everything and gave me various options. We decided to go for the full boat which was to replace the condenser fan motor, more efficient blades, and thermostat. The total cost was $1,104. Our Sub-Zero is in great shape for its age. A new 48" side-by-side Sub-Zero would cost about $15,000 and we are not ready for that yet. Besides, new Sub-Zeros are a little bit different size and a new one may not fit. He also showed us that the door gaskets had some small tears and splits, so we should keep an eye on them. The installation and replacement of the gaskets will be $400 when we decide to do it.

This company has done excellent work analyzing and servicing my SubZero under-counter refrigerator/freezer unit. Today, Kevin diligently spent the time necessary to de-ice the components and observe exactly what was happening. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and patiently answered my questions about what he found. A gasket was necessarily replaced after cleaning out the accumulated ice and now the unit seems to be running properly. The office staff has also been responsive. I definitely recommend this company.

After getting several bids and reading reviews, I chose JC Heating and Air to troubleshoot and service my Sub-Zero refrigerator that was malfunctioning (major issue it was freezing over).
I felt this company was transparent, honest. Also, I need to mention there was one bid almost double the price for the same predictable service that also included some parts replaced.
Clearly, technicians can make a logical guess of the repair in relation associated with issues as mine was Sub-Zero refrigerator was icing up after years of years of operation 2016 model.
